They start setting off fireworks about one month before and at least a month after the 4th. Seems the people could put the money to better use. Some fireworks are pretty, some are just for the noise.
My two dogs now are afraid but don't go crazy.
I wish I had some of the money they waste. I could buy groceries and fabric.
