"practice makes perfect" ?????? not in my house when it comes to certain things - especially of the sewing variety!

Perfect doesn't find its way into my vocabulary very often ....

You did a wonderful job .... yes, maybe not "perfect", but wonderful nonetheless ....

Once it is finished, you won' notice it .... and five years from now you are likely to not be able to find it at all .....

I ironed all my seams open. I had no trouble matching points on the pinwheels, but I found that when attaching the strip of sewn squares to the next row, I had trouble lining everything up. I thought I had done a good job with my 1/4 inch, but practice makes perfect, right?
