oh, I feel for you. DD has a kitty named Romeo, and I don't remember all the details, something about allergies from regular cat food would make his urinary tract swell up, so he couldn't "go". Poor thing, his bladder would fill...anyway, daughter put it on her credit card, and he had surgery, and ever since, she has to keep any other food away from him. He eats in the bathroom with door shut, while the other kitty cats eat in kitchen. When finished, all bowls are taken up, so he doesn't get one little piece of the regular. I don't know what to tell you, cause my hubby wouldn't let me pay for something like that either.
A dog he loved, got s--- bit one time, and I was crying on the phone to the vet. They heard him tell me, we weren't going to pay $160.00 for a shot,...and suggested giving him milk. I prayed and prayed, and he came out of it. Vet said, must have been a dry bite.
