That's funny because I go to the butcher shop when I visit. My sister took me to a new butcher in a small village and the smell of the smoked meat is impossible to describe. They gave me a weird look - apparently I had my nose way up in the air. My sister said:"never mind her - she's visiting from America." Strangely, the employees understood. Aparently that happens a lot. lol
