It sounds like a good used machine is the way to go. So many makers have brought out fancy new models in the past three years that there should be an abundance of used machines available at reputable dealers who've sold those new ones.

Also search craigslist.org for your local area.....if you are close enough to one that way, you can try it out before deciding.
