Yes, It is a Singer VS2. I have read posts from folks that have called it a fiddle head and others call it a fiddle base. What is the correct term?
Singer VS2 Fiddlebase! I also have a VS2 from 1889, pictured on page 794. I think that picture is before "Bessie" got cleaned up. We are in the process of re-finishing her cabinet. Your VS2 is in much better shape than mine! My Bessie's decals are the Painted Roses or sometimes called Rose and Cornflower.
