You know, it probably wouldn't be difficult to design a simple nurse's cap block, using templates or applique.
My sister is also a nurse, and I truly believe it's a calling. When you're a nurse, you're a nurse to the center of your bones. Whatever you come up with, I know your SIL will be thrilled. :)
