If you can sort your charm pack by color families, this one will work. I sorted the charms by color, cut the them in half, lined them up and sewed them end to end, moving down the stacks as I started each vertical row (column one started at the first stack, column two started with the second stack, etc). When I sewed the sides together, I shifted each one a half unit. I had an odd number of strips, so when I reached the center, I shifted directions. If your number is even, then just keep going for a diagonal effect. Sounds harder than it is. The hot pad was extra strips. The color isn't that pink. It's a very soft coral. The only change I would make is to make the ends a smaller angle - less pointed. You could even do it as a rectangle - no points.
