Make the loop part of it twice the width of the seat belt and attach a piece of hook velcro the same width but not as long. Sew them together and wrap around the seat belt and secure with the hook . If this is confusing I can go get one and send a pic of it. We have tried the plastic clip and it didn't work. But hoop this around BOTH straps, slide it to where you want it and it will stay there.
