This quilt belongs to a high school classmate. The center portion was pieced by her mother, who is now deceased. She found a picture online of a schoolhouse quilt with a 9 patch on point border. It seemed like a good fit since she wanted to enlarge what was a twin size top into a king size quilt. The quilt is now finished and ready to go back to her.
