Actually, when I researched the tea party history- you didn't let the fingers extend beyond the handle- it needed to be tucked in. Amazing- someone along the way was a rebel and put their finger out!

I found some pretty tea pot fabric since then and am making a table runner for the bride. Her future hubby isn't crazy about it but I'll make it reverse to something solid for him. I refuse to use camo on anything I quilt. I hate camo. (My SonIL is a huge fan and they put GD in it- I only buy pink and purple for her- she is a girl!)
