I've only made 3 bed size quilts by the quilt as you go method. Since I have double trouble with my hands, working with smaller pieces of the quilt is easier for me. The first 2 quilts were made in the style where you have to hand sew the backing of the pieces together. I'll not do that again, although, the front does look better with no machine stitching showing. Since I discovered the Fun & Done method, I'll not use another method. It's quick and easy.
