You will need to enlarge your patterns with a setting of 142% at the copier. I did mine on my all-in-one printer. You don't get the whole image on an 8 1"/2" x 11" sheet of printer paper, but more than half of it, so you just need to turn the copy 180º to trace off the other half when you are marking your background fabric.
