If you are in any doubt Mousie, why not draw out a diagram on paper of your yardage. Check out pages 10 and 11 in the book to get an idea how to do that. Don't forget that I used more black in that my narrow borders have a black background that isn't allowed for in those diagrams. First thing is to measure the width of your fabric, and what size you are cutting your block backgrounds.
