I am from the great Pacific Northwest!!! I live in Seattle, Washington.
It is Spring here, so it has been pretty rainy. You know, the Seattle rain season begins January 1st and ends December 31st!! However, it was nice over the weekend so I went and helped my mom plant her garden.
She dug up a bunch of her gladiola's (spelling??) and sent them home with me, so I have those planted and can't wait for them to bloom (most likely a couple months from now). I also planted some wave petunias, and violas. I also got a tomato plant going, I hope I get some to eat some this year, last year the squirrels ate them  I plan to get a blueberry bush next weekend. I am a happy camper!!
Money is tight right now because of vet bills, so I wasn't going to do flowers. I bought my mom a hummingbird feeder, and the wave petunias for mothers day, that is what she wanted. But I got her too many petunias. So she had six left over, so she sent them home for me to use, and sent the glady bulbs, and some violas from her own yard. The gladys keep multiplying and now she a billion of them taking over her yard, so she keeps digging them up and moving them and giving them away. So now I will have plants!!! Isn't my mommy the best!!!!
