My money is too hard to come by to spend $10+ on fabric I get online (same designer, same fabric) for $8+ with no tax and often free shipping.
I'm all about supporting local businesses, but to keep my business, they have to provide something I can't get elsewhere. A local quilt shop is just another fabric store. It's not like they made their product themselves; i.e., jewelry, candles, that sort of thing.
