It really bugs me, too, when I read CraigsList and see all the dogs and cats 'lost'. The ads say 'when we got home Bubba was gone. He probably got scared by the fireworks'. Give me a break. Don't you know when your dog is gun-shy. Don't leave him in the yard when you know there will be firecrackers. It's the same every year. --- I'm through ranting, now.
Amen to this. On our local CraigsList I too have been reading about all the cats and dogs that are missing due to the fireworks. What are people thinking? Growing up, we used to have to put our dog in the basement on the 4th and she was a gunning dog/pet so she was used to loud noises... but did not like the fireworks.
