nyc is right, the kids prepped it for you - kind of like when you struggle to open a jar, you hand it to your spouse (or worse, a kid) and he opens it immediately. Do check your homeowner's; otherwise it will be time to come up with very creative window covering solutions until you can egt the cash to replace it!
