Helen sent me this lovely quilt for her Granddaughter.

the minute I saw the quilt I thought it was so pretty. However, I struggled with the design. I wanted to keep with the music theme....So in the top and bottom choir strips I quilted in
Do...Re...Mi...Fa...So..La..Ti..Do.....Then in the center choir I quilts la..la..la..la...la.
The red outside border along with the inner areas surrounding the music note I stippled and also quilted in music notes.
I outlined the black portion of the piano to give it some dimension and filled in all the rest of the areas with different designs to break up texture.
I think it turned out adorable!

I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA> I used Hobbs polydown batting.
