I do not like to use "cookie cutter" patterns to create. So such books are of no interest to me.
I like one of a kind of something.
Anyway here is a quick ROUGH sample block of what I'm thinking off.
I do have more structered ones in mind but that will come later.
In this sample I used a 6" square block and random applique batik pieces I cut up from left over applique pieces I had put away. I would stitch around the pebbles and/or titles to give it a contrasting 3D effect.
