Kas is right. A glazier would fix that in no time.
He'll cut the glass to size and whack it in with the outdoor putty. I'd send our builder round but it's a bit far. Relax - rearrange the furniture so the chair won't do it again - do yourself some tea and biccies and think of those quilts you don't have to sell.
