I just finished washing a newly completed quilt that I'd marked using a Quilt Pounce with their wash-out blue chalk -- except that some of the blue lines did NOT wash out! I won't put it in the dryer (worried it would set the stain). I had washed it with cold water, gentle cycle, regular detergent (Kirkland Environmentally Friendly laundry detergent), and had even sprayed the marked areas with Spray N Wash. BTW it had not been ironed before laundering.
This is a graduation gift (already a little late) and I obviously want it to be perfect (well, except for my flawed quilting). What to do next?
Thanks for any suggestions...I've also emailed the company but since it's the weekend I might not get a response right away.
