I'm so glad you asked this question! I've been wanting a Kindle, and had recently considered the Nook because of the color. It was the ability to see it outside that made me settle on the Kindle instead. Now I wish I could see my cell phone screen when I'm outside -- that drives me crazy! :lol:
You can adjust your settings and read the color nook outside just like you can read in bed at night w/the lights off.
