The jelly roll didn't have a lot of variety but I never though the strips would match up making two sections. The only thing I can think of is my first sewn together strip got twisted. Would that have made the strips not varied? I still like it but just wondering why the dark blue and pinks are on one side and the greens and prints are on the other side.
I hope you figure it out and post directions for how to do it on purpose because that is a really pretty effect.
Could it be that's how the strips in the jellyroll just happened to be stacked?
