Ladies, there has been a lot writtin in the newspaper and on T.V that Heart Attacks among women is one of the leadng causes of death. They also said that women are more lkely to have a second heart attack withn the year of the first one.
Are there heart attack survivors on the QB?
What changes did you do after?
Any complications?
And how old were you then and now.
I'll go first, I ws the last person you would think would have a HA. I exercised and more or less watched what I age. I had my attack in 2010 before my 62 birthday. A week after I left the hospital I had repiratory failure and rushed to hospital.
I've changed my diet and now I look at the saturated fat in food. I continue to exercise , a bit more vigorously. Have check up by Dr's every 3 months. I'm close to having to need dialysis, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I will be 63 in Sept. Let me know your experience
