Heh... I'm the opposite... I feel like I SHOULD be building a stash, but I just cannot bring myself to do it. Just last weekend I was at the store and had an armful of FQs that were on sale. Walked around with those things for about 20 minutes before just putting them back on the shelf. I didn't have a purpose for them, and I just couldn't bring myself to buy them.
I compensate by over-purchasing by half a yard sometimes on fabric I really like. I also save every imaginably useful scrap. It may be some years before I can go "stash shopping," but I'm okay with that.
