I got laid off about 4 months ago. I am not sad, I am enjoying for now not working 50 hours at the office and then coming home and working another 40 hours.
I am not trying to be frugal. We are fine financially (knock wood) (my job was play money) But I went through all the bank statements and found I was spending anywhere from 200-300 a month on Quilty stuff and near had kittens. My best friend is a stay at home mom on a very limited budget(she is a quilter too). So when I went and bought anything for me I doubled it and sent it to her.
Now I am trying to use up some of the monstrous stash I have.
My mistake is taking DH with me to the quilt store and he is like "oh this is nice you need this, hey do you have this book, its pretty cool." the man totally wacks out my budget.
