The hexagons are 1.44" along one of the six edges or approx. 2 1/2" diameter from one edge to another edge.
I was surprised at how many I've made, especially in the last week! I'm printing out the hexagons, cutting them out of the plain xerox paper, using a fabric glue stick to form the fabric around the paper and then basting them either by hand or machine and finally hand sewing the hexs together. I thought it would take forever, but it's going much quicker than I thought.
