I quite agree. In fact, I find the randomness most attractive in this quilt. I love it.
It looks to me like the perfect representation of my "fibrofog". I couldn't describe it or draw a better depiction of it if I had to. Smiles. There are the nice clear areas that work perfectly and blend right into the blurred areas so smoothly that you don't even realize you are blurry at first. If I had the budget, I'd offer to buy it from you just for this very reason!!!! Well and also because it is lovely.
