My recurring nightmare involves elevators that are too heavy to move, dropping, etc. I would never test the jump theory based on the idea that my weight crashing down combined with the already plummeting elevator would be just the straw to break the cable. :(
The doors would most likely open for all to see me spread-eagled on the floor, distributing my weight for less impact :)
Just when I was quivering with elevator fear, BZANG had me gut-laughing :lol: :lol: :lol: Nothing like a good laugh to chase the worries away.
You are one WONDERFUL woman to think of others before yourself to actually get in that elevator and go back to work. Let's take a vote and see how many of us would have done that - - - raise your hands girls (I'm sitting on mine)
