Oh i know, sewnsewer did a great tue, only i didnt understand all of it. So silly me thought i could do it my OWN way! And this it would work! NOT! lol lol Had my plan all written down on paper and everything, but diamonds are so hard to calculate the right dimensions! I did 2 1/2" strips, sewed them together, then sliced 2 1/2 the other way, on the 45 degree angle, did they come out right, nooooooo, long and skinny! So now i turned my leftover strips into 1 1/2" strips, and have sliced them, and am now sewing them. I think they look like a diamond. I'm not having trouble sewing on the bias, but wish i knew how to figure, when your strips are a certain width, how far apart to slice them in the other direction. But, i will see how these 1 1/2 inchers work
