I'm not having trouble sewing on the bias, but wish i knew how to figure, when your strips are a certain width, how far apart to slice them in the other direction. Mine were 2 in strips and I sliced at 2in came out just fine. They do look a bit long/skinny until you get some of them sewn together then they should look more like diamonds.
