One trick I found was to cut my block to 13 or 13 1/2 inces and then embroider and then cut to size. It has worked really niced. Keep going with the pieceing. Don't give up, Please, Quilters need you.

That's how I doing my applique, then I hand wash and drip dry, iron then size it...so far works wonders...
