I've been reading all the replies on how to keep a marriage together and they are wonderful. However I have my own method and we'll be married 48 years in December. My husband works for a government agency that causes him to be on assignment for months at a time. I call it my vacation time because absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. Not sure we could have made it if he were "underfoot" for the last 20+ years ;-)
