Years ago I knitted a blanket for my cousin's daughter's baby. She received several fleece blankets which were OOO'd and AHHH'd over. However, the reward came later in the fact that my knitted blanket was in every photo of her baby and I was told it was her favorite. It doesn't matter what others think as long as the one you gave it to appreciates it.
