First, I made the Multi Fan Star quilt last year. I really didn't have a whole lot of scraps left over, but did have a very nice chunk of 108" printed backing left that I kept looking at as a border for something. Finally, the lights came on and with a couple of fat quarters of darker reds and a lighter blendable I was able to use almost all of the scraps up to make this Cranberry Relish.
After I get it quilted it will go to the Fisher House at Ft. Campbell since it fits into the red, white, and blue requirement. Really a lot of fun, but I still have just a few itty bitty scraps that, I suppose will have to go into a postage stamp quilt someday.
