My quilt friends and I have been twice to Lancaster County to visit the Amish areas. We had a great time. We went to the Lancaster Quilt Show at Easter on year and managed to get rooms just across the road from the golf course where it was being held. Made it so easy. The other time we were in one of the Best Western places. The very first time I went with a group and we stayed at Harvest Drive motel in Intercourse and we could walk down to Zimmermans the big Mennonite shop,the Amish Museum of Quilts and all the other quilt shops in the village.
