Patrice, someone on the Yahoo forum responded to me with this. And yes, I do know for a fact that we can program and store a series of stitches/letters in a pattern and recall them later. That is a feature of the Janome MC6600. I just don't know how to do it. But thanks to this poster!!! And thanks to you for also responding to me!! MA

Press the letter key to get the font you want. Use the keypad to enter the numbers for each letter, pressing the red M key toward the bottom right of your machine after each letter. When your sequence is complete, press the M key toward the top that has the 2 arrows to find an "empty" folder or slot. There are 5 available. Once you are in the slot, press the red M key to save the sequence there. You can sew it immediately; or come back to it later. To recall the sequence later, press the M arrow key to get back to that folder. Press the circle shaded in halves to recall that sequence, and sew.
