I agree. We recently got a new dishwasher and it doesn't' clean as well as the old one. This is a "water saver" dishwasher and it is supposed to use a lot less water. But, the shortest cycle (even without the heat dry) is well over an hour.

But, I have read many places and tend to agree that it isn't just the dishwasher, but the removal of the phosphates from the soaps that makes the dishes not as clean.
