Did you know that you now file online, not at a office where two hundred people have the same appointment and you stand in line for up to two hours before you get your turn. That is a plus. But if you are not good with computers well it is the pitts. I was given a web address to go to. That was typed on a sheet of paper. Only everytime I typed it in, I was told I had a incorrect web address.
I wind up having a complete melt down right in th unemployment office. And I have to tell you I have been totally useless sence. I really do belive that there is something else out there for me, but I am really hurt that this doctor didn't even give me a chance, and I know it was because of my age. And darn it I am only 55 yrs old. But right now I feel like a dinosour.
I understand how you feel, the company I work for closed and I was laid off last year, and on an interview last month he asked how old I was and the interview ended pretty much as soon as I told him I was 52, no point in not telling him because he had my application in front of him with my BD on it lol but that ok he lost out on an employee who was honest and hardworking
