Hi, I was asked a number of years ago to work that show. I lived in York which was right across the Susquehanna River from Lancaster. I was a beginner quilter and I worked from beginning to end of the show. What a learning experience and so much fun.I got to go around with the judges while they judged and hung the quilts. I sold the tickets worked the show each day and packed up the quilts and got everything ready to mail back. I did this for a number of years. I have kept in touch with the judges Libby Lehman and Diane Herbort. I have some great pictures of us horsing around together. It is a big show and a lot goes into getting everything ready on time. It is a wonderful show every year.I am grateful for the years I could work each March. It always falls just before the Paducha Show. After I decided to fall out of bed and had to have my upper arm reattached to my lower part I have not been able to work the show. Now I have moved to Florida and think about the show and the wonderful people each March. It had great vendors too. I still miss it.
