Oh my, I never throw scraps away even the tiniest slivers. I keep a bag by my cutting table and anything not big enough to use, goes into the bag. It is surprising how quickly it fills up.I know a lady who saves them to make dog beds for the humane society. They wash and dry easily. Anything you throw away was $8-10 a yard too.
