I just made this meatloaf on Saturday served with steamed fresh green beans and whipped sweet potatoes! Here is my recipe:

1 ½ pounds of lean ground beef
1 cup milk
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon dried sage leaves
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon ground mustard (dry)
1 large egg
3 slices of bread, torn into small pieces
1 small onion, chopped
1 glove garlic, chopped

* Spread ½ cup of Ketchup over formed meatloaf before putting into oven (optional)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients into large bowl. Spread mixture into ungreased 13 X 9 rectangular pan. (Cover top with Ketchup if desired.) Bake uncovered 1 to 1 ¼ hours. Let stand 5 minutes, remove from pan.

* I don’t use Ketchup but use a brown gravy over this meatloaf when serving. This recipe is always a hit!!
