Heck - in our house if it can be used for something it is fair game- we both cross use items. The one that really threw me was the morning I woke up only to find my husband had been up all night trying to edo the kitchen sink plumbing fro scratch without any knowledge- he was using the extra fine bladed tomato knife my mother had bought me for cutting pvc- amazingly it still cuts tomaots after all these years
