I had a similar problem several years ago. My 89 year old mother told me to sprinkle some moth balls around. I was concerned about how they would affect the ground (toxic? I don't think so but you never know) so I set several tin pie plates with 3 or 4 moth balls in them...worked like a charm.
I am going to try the moth balls... and I will look at the dollar store for them.. hehehe.. worth a try them things really stink...
