I just finished making a tree skirt for a wedding gift for my friend's grandson. I made mine square all in half triangles. Turned out OK. I think I like the round better. Have made dozens to skirts and they are all different each time. They are kinda my "signature" gift for folks I either don't know very well or for my friends grand and greatgrand kid's (who I also don't usually know very well) weddings.
