Those decals actually aren't bad for a W&W! (The decals on W&W machines are known to blow away easily) I no longer have one, and never had a manual for either it or the 9W....but your thread will go from the spindle, through the thread guide at the top, through the upper tension, lower tension, through the hole in the take-up bar, and then down through the guides to the needle, which threads left to right.
You need "Bagel" bobbins for it, and 127x1 (Singer number) needles, or Boye 18 needles.
The attachments aren't exactly "back clamps"...the machine has a split shank, and takes the hooked attachments.
