My Son-in-law and Grandson both spent 2 terms of service in Iraq, and said that in the hottest of summer the temps can get up to 140 degrees!!!! And GS said riding in his hummer was like sitting in front of a blast furnace, and there was always the fun of dust storms that would make it a hot, total darkness...
