For this I used batik crumbs. I call it Melons in the Batik Patch. I bought the Beyer fabric to make a OBW, then decided to do this border with it instead. this is the first thing I have quilted entirely on my new Janome 6600.
BTW I heard a rumor that this wonderful machine may be discontinued soon, so bargains may become available.
