Non-quilters do not understand the "need to quilt" ... just like non-artists do not understand the "creative process". I don't quilt to please others, I quilt for me! I find the whole process of quilting is very relaxing and helps me unwind! The decision, where the quilt goes, doesn't have to be made now. Maybe he would love it if you made one just for him!
